Shannon Costa is a compassionate and dedicated Muslim birth doula and certified childbirth educator, proudly serving families across the Greater Chicago area. With deep respect for the sacred journey of childbirth, she specializes in supporting Muslim families with culturally mindful and faith-aligned care.  

Certified by both DONA International as a birth doula and Lamaze International as a childbirth educator, Shannon brings evidence-based knowledge and nurturing guidance to every birth experience. She has also studied Women's Fiqh under Dr. Rania Awaad, thoughtfully integrating Islamic principles and teachings on women's ritual purity into her services.
